Victory
After an ongoing battle, finally a victory in favour of independent, small scale venues and unsigned bands as the Live Music Bill is eventually passed in the House Of Commons. What this means in short is that venues will no longer have to pay for an additional license to have live music on between the hours of 8am and 11pm, a constraint which was throttling the live music scene and reducing opportunities for undiscovered musicians to hone their craft on a local basis.
